Architectural Portraits

The Architectural Portraits series shows the individual beauty and character of our contemporary and iconic buildings. Each building creates its own unique finger print on the landscape but in many cases they are overwhelmed by their surrounding environment, clutter and street bustle.

Gregory’s vision for this series is to eliminate all environmental noise. Things like cars, tram lines, people and surrounding buildings. In doing so, It can take many days to complete just one image. Each image is created by bring together both Gregory’s photographic and digital darkroom skills.

This collection is also available through the National Library of New Zealand in Wellington.
