Aurora Photo Processing Software

I’ve used various post processing programs in the past as part of my workflow and I’ve got to say I’m absolutely loving the power, speed and simplicity of Macphun ‘s. Aurora HDR Pro. for Mac users.

The great thing is it works just as beautifully on one single Raw image as it does with multiple imagess shot for HDR.  Here are a few images I processed using Macphun ‘s. Aurora HDR Pro. These were taken at the Hobbiton Movie Set in Matamata, New Zealand. You can see the rest of the photos I took that day at the Hobbiton Movie Set here. They were all processed through Aurora HDR Pro.

Peter Jacksons Hobbiton Movie Set

On the Monday of Easter I arrived home from what was a most eventful and enjoyable weekend away with two of my most favourite ladies, my wife Sonya and daughter Rachelle. We’d gone away to go to the stage show Mrs Browns Boys in Auckland. We travelled via car so we could visit some of the places we’d had on our bucket list. The first being Waitomo Caves. Rachelle had never been there and I was keen to re-visit to get photos.

Gallipoli: The scale of our war

Last Sunday I had a couple of hours to spend in town. I’d intended to use that time walking the streets of Wellington doing a a bit of street photography. That all changed when I got to the Te Papa Museum and spotted the advertising board promoting –  Gallipoli: The Scale Of Our War Exhibition. I’d been meaning to go see this since ANZCA Day 2015, but never got round to it.

Titahi Bay Surf Boat Team

The 2016 Titahi Bay surf boat team, Jonathan Boyd, Brett Hamer, Jordan Tyrrell, Chris Middleton, Wil McDowell are representing New Zealand once more in Australia this year. I went to Titahi Bay beach to get a aerial video of one of their training sessions.
