Extreme Paragliding Air

[scd_social_share] There’s no doubt about it. When it comes to Paragliding in Queenstown you get some extreme air and awesome views. Looking out off of our motel balcony this was a common scene.

Pigeon Island

Following on from yesterday’s post with the Glenorchy Lagoon, this is on the Queenstown side of Glenorchy on the return trip back to Queenstown. At the end of the road is Pigeon Island. [scd_social_share]

Glenorchy Lagoon

At one end of lake Wakatipu is Glenorchy. It’s a quiet little town with big vistas of Mount Bonpland, Mount Alfred and the Dart River which flows into the lake from its left.
