On January 16, 17 and 18th Hood Aerodrome, Masterton, put on their Wings Over Wairarapa Air Show. This years event was celebrating 100 years of aviation.
I spent two out of the three days at the air show. That being the Friday and Saturday. On the Friday the weather Gods supplied some awesome cloud formations for backdrops. Unfortunately on the day, swirling winds stopped some of the older planes from taking to the air. Saturday though did fair better with all the planes taking part. The aerial and ground displays were absolutely fantastic with planes and vehicles from WWI, WWII right through to the more modern military machines out there.
At the end of the two days I came home with over 2000 images. What a mission that has been sorting through them all. I still haven’t finished as such, but I wanted to share just a few of the images here with you.
